Types of cabinet finishes:
Coming to its variants, cabinet finishes are available in numerous forms but the three main ones are gloss, matte, and high-gloss finish. Under this, we have five finishes that are most preferred in the interior industry, namely:
Acrylic:
A non-toxic finish that gives a high-gloss look to your cabinets.
Melamine:
A synthetic finish that is highly resistant to moisture and stain. This finish is again a non-toxic one.
Laminate:
This finish is known for its high durability and resistance against heat. It gives a realistic texture to the cabinets.
Lacquer:
It is a solvent-based synthetic finish that gives out a high-gloss lustre to the cabinets.
Veneer:
These are thin slices of wood that are glued onto different types of panels and gives your cabinet designs a more detailed look.
