Common kitchen layout

Straight Layout

Straight layout: suitable for narrow kitchens, where household appliances, cabinets and operation desks are located on one side of the wall, all functional zones are in the same straight line, which is simple and clear.

L-shaped layout

The L-shaped layout is suitable for square kitchens. Generally, the cooking range and range hood are placed on the longer side of the L-shaped, which solves the embarrassment of corners. The semi-open concept space is connected with the adjacent space. The functional zoning is focused and the layout looks flexible and changeable.

U-shaped layout

The U-shaped layout is an extension of the L-shaped kitchen, with an additional table top on the other long side or a high cabinet on the whole wall to accommodate more articles or electrical appliances.  The space utilization rate is high. From the design, the washing area, cooking area, operation area and storage area of the U-shaped kitchen can be clearly divided.

Straight-line+island layout
