Classy cabinetry can make any home look like a million bucks. If a kitchen sports some stunning storage doors, then there’s no telling what other intricate interior beauties can be found throughout the house. Because cabinets are a key factor in defining a kitchen’s character, it’s vital to choose the right style for your space.

Selection Of Kitchen Materials
When we take our clients through the kitchen design process, we show them a variety of different kitchen materials and finishes. Based on their expectations, desires and responses to these material samples, we can then derive one, or a selection of kitchen materials that are suitable for our client’s dream kitchen. At REBON, we offer a variety of kitchen materials, each of which come in different color and finish options. Our most popular kitchen materials are wood, glass, lacquer, and laminate.

Grain Of Kitchen Materials
No matter the wood you choose for your kitchen cabinets, it is important that you consider the grain. Not only will it determine the texture of your cabinetry, it will also provide the “look” for a modern kitchen design. If you are going for a more rustic style, maybe you will want a slightly rougher grain. For European kitchen designs, you may want a sleeker material with a finer grain. In those cases, veneered kitchen cabinets are likely to provide much better grain matching than traditional wood cabinets.

Color Of Kitchen Cabinets
Above all else, the color chosen for your kitchen cabinetry is indicative of a kitchen’s style. For lighter cabinets, you might want to select a wood like pine, hickory, or ash kitchen material. But fortunately, you are not married to a single color for the entirety of your life in a home. And, it is up to you and your taste if you choose one or more dominant colors for your kitchen space versus more subtle, neutral colors and designs. A recent survey revealed that 42% of people actually prefer white cabinets in their kitchens, but as previously mentioned, a kitchen should be uniquely you. Wood stains and even paints can completely change the look of a kitchen if you are in need of an update. One of the best woods for staining is birch, as it can actually replicate a beautiful cherry or maple appearance when stained correctly. The vast majority of kitchen designers may recommend this option because of its versatility.
