Solid wood tends to warp when exposed to the high humidity environment common in the kitchen. This happens because the wood grain naturally faces in a certain direction. However, the fibers in MDF( base material of thermofoil door) are not oriented in any direction, so this kind of material can keep its shape better under humid conditions. Hot foil is also more resistant to moisture-related peeling and blistering than painted wood.

The smooth vinyl surface of the hot foil cabinet can resist the accumulation of dust and dirt, and can easily remove adherends. Occasionally wipe the hot foil cabinet with a cloth dipped in soapy water, which is the only way to keep the cabinet clean.
